“We’re into the final fortnight and our candidates and volunteers are working hard to get the Green Party message out to as many voters as possible. We’re aiming to have delivered over 200,000 postcards and leaflets delivered across Southwark by May 7th, but to hit that target we need to ramp up our efforts. With us just about to welcome our 800th member, I also hope we can all show the strength of Green Party support throughout Southwark through our posters, on social media (http://twibbon.com/support/thegreenpartys) and through talking to our friends, family and colleagues. With Friends of the Earth stating that our manifesto “…stands out from the others as a plan not just to do the right things on the environment, but to stop doing the wrong things as well” (https://www.foe.co.uk/blog/election-manifestos-highs-lows), coupled with our vision of a fair and just society, we should all be proud to be voting Green on May 7th.
Colin Boyle, Chair Southwark Green Party
Amelia, Rashid and William would be happy to meet with community groups across Southwark, or attend hustings or other community events, so please let us know how best they can hear your concerns and set out the Green Party vision for your constituency and the whole country.
